About Lakota Marine Services
Lakota Marine Services located in the Port of Everett's Craftsman area, was established in 2000 by Mike Carder with the goal of providing the highest quality service and workmanship for each customer.
Customer satisfaction has always been Mike's number-one priority. He has been in the marine industry since 1976 when he started with Blue Water Boats in Woodinville, Washington. He went on to manage the company. Mike was with Jerry Husted when Jerry started Nordic Tugs. He built the molds for the original 26-foot model and gained a well-rounded and excellent view of the fiberglass process. After working 20 years in the fabrication of many well named boats, Mike decided to move to the repair side of the business. His background and knowledge of many different composites, polyesters, epoxies, polyurethanes, bottom coatings and varnishes give his customers security, knowing their boat is in great hands.
Originally based in Seattle, Lakota Marine Services moved to the Port of Everett in 2004, leasing from Bayside Marine. It has built an excellent and lasting relationship with Bayside Marine over the years. Lakota Marine Services has built a fiberglass repair shop inside Bayside Marine's heated dry stack facility. Boats up to 32-feet can be worked on inside the heated shop, and anything larger is hauled by the Port of Everett and worked on in the port yard.
Lakota Marine Service's dedicated, detail-oriented crew has knowledge and experience that spans decades beyond the time it has been in business. They bring this knowledge to work every day to provide customers with the high-quality service and materials they demand.
Mike's most important goal is satisfied customers. He wants every customer to feel that they received better service and value than they expected, and that his entire crew presented themselves in a professional manner.
Mike is committed to the highest standard of quality craftsmanship that can be delivered.
